spool. is free to download and genuinely useful on its own. A single one-time Spool Pro purchase unlocks the full instrument — no subscription, ever.

Previewing locked engines

Locked engines aren’t hidden. Open one and spool. shows “PRO preview — silent” — the visualizer animates and the knobs respond so you can feel the engine out; playing a key brings up the unlock screen.

Restoring a purchase

Bought Spool Pro and it shows locked (new phone, reinstall)? Tap the ⓘ About button (top bar) — or the unlock screen — and hit Restore Purchases. As long as you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with, it unlocks right away.
